Elgudja Jvania is a film and commercial director from Saint Petersburg, a graduate of the University of Culture and Arts under Yuri Feting. He picked up a camera at five in the Georgian mountains — and never let go.

For him, directing is emotion in motion, a way to tell complex stories with striking simplicity. Skilled with both adults and children, he puts image and sound at the heart of every frame. “Films are watched. Commercials are heard,” he says.

Elgudja has filmed in extreme conditions, from rooftops 465 meters high to stormy seas, always with precision, discipline, and an uplifting energy. Inspired by real stories, beauty, and music, he brings emotion to every project — even in silence.
